“A cay (/’ki:/ or /’ker/), also spelled caye or key, is a small, low-elevation, sandy island formed on the surface of a coral reef. Cays occur in tropical environments throughout the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans (including in the Caribbean and on the Great Barrier Reef and Belize Barrier Reef), where they can provide habitable and agricultural land for hundreds of thousands of people. Their surrounding reef ecosystems also provide food and building materials for island inhabitants.”
My name is Aneka Stewart. I was born in Kingston Jamaica and now reside in The Bahamas.
I am so in love with life and the experiences it has to offer. Moreover, I enjoy living on such a beautiful island.
I’ve visited a few cays in the Exumas and I fell in love. What a beautiful, peaceful experience to be a tiny figment on a beautiful piece of land. Each Cay, unique in itself offers something so different from the other.
I’ve found the “Key” to happy, healthy living and now, I would like to share this “Cay” where we can all be connected, strangers and friends alike, to talk about fashion, photography, life and everything in between.
